IMMO Office is a conversion project that transforms a sea-view residential building in Gümbet, Bodrum, into an office space. The aim was to redefine the building’s residential character, create a more functional and efficient working environment, and restore architectural coherence to a structure that had lost its original integrity through later additions. The existing staircases running along the façade and connecting to the terrace were removed and reorganized along the side façade, establishing a clearer connection between the lower garden, upper garden and terrace. This intervention created larger, interconnected outdoor spaces. Inside, dark corridors and rooms originally sized for residential use were reconfigured through the removal of partition walls. On the ground floor, continuous linear lighting was introduced to establish visual continuity between the meeting room and office spaces. Metal suspended systems were also incorporated to conceal ventilation and electrical infrastructure while enhancing the perception of ceiling height, which is limited to 2.70 metres.
